A player must be matched to a canonical identity, current team and usable competition record before his evidence can support a public profile. Conflicting records are held back rather than quietly merged.
Role before raw totals
A centre-back, holding midfielder and winger should not be judged by the same headline statistics. Public evidence is selected and described through the job a player performs, with minutes and competition context kept visible.
Missing is not zero
Unavailable metrics are labelled unavailable. We do not turn an absent feed, incomplete season or unverified match record into a poor performance grade.
The score opens the file
Wonderkid Score is a proprietary discovery signal, not a transfer recommendation or final projection. We publish the result, ranking date and evidence confidence while keeping model weights and calculation logic private.
Estimates stay estimates
Transfer-worth figures are editorial estimates informed by dated market evidence. They are not asking prices, release clauses, transaction guarantees or claims about a club’s willingness to sell.
Observation and projection stay separate
Automated data screens can identify strengths and questions for film. A firm ceiling, tactical-fit grade or character conclusion requires documented human observation and is not inferred from a percentile alone.
Young players receive a tighter boundary
Exact birth dates are not published. Individual under-18 profiles remain unindexed and omit portraits, physical details, recent-match timelines, transfer history and valuation history.
Corrections belong on the record
Material identity, club, position, transfer or statistical errors are corrected in the next reviewed release. Ranking movement should come from new evidence—not silent historical rewriting.

Transparency does not require publishing a recipe that can be copied or gamed. Wonderkid Scout explains what a public number means, when it was updated and how confident the supporting evidence is. The detailed scoring architecture remains proprietary.
